Tune-in Tuesday: Episode 104
Episode 104
Laurie McKnight & Dan Magner
What does Wi-Fi have to do with hope?
Everything, as it turns out.
Host Anna Jinja sits down with three incredible changemakers who are quite literally connecting foster youth to their futures. Laurie McKnight, Jeremy Jenkins, and Tim Henderson are bridging the gap between young people aging out of the foster system and life-changing careers in the broadband industry.
Here's what will blow your mind: ✨ Jobs starting at $40K-$60K with just TWO WEEKS of training ✨ Career paths reaching six figures ✨ Real mentorship creating real transformation ✨ Second chances that change lives!
Plus, we kick off with a serendipitous poetry moment that'll give you chills—poet Daniel Magner's "Wi-Fi" becomes the perfect metaphor for connection, access, and belonging. This isn't just about laying fiber optic cables. It's about laying the foundation for futures these young people never dreamed possible.

Wifi
It's the closest I've got to a soul.
Ever present and when it isn't
I'm hollow,
desperate to feel its powerful touch,
wash over me, connect me to the hive mind,
the swirling voice, collective planet,
except those with no access.
Yes, it is life blood,
cool streams in the desert,
a thing so desperately sought.
